Maruti Suzuki Dzire Facelift 2024: Maruti Suzuki has a strong foothold in the Indian automotive market with a lineup of impressive cars and SUVs. The Japanese manufacturer has recently launched the new 2024 Swift model in India. Now, Maruti Suzuki is gearing up for another significant launch - a facelift version of its popular compact sedan, the Dzire. Although the company hasn't released official details yet, it is being speculated that the updated Dzire is expected to hit the Indian market around September 2024.
The upcoming facelifted Maruti Suzuki Dzire is anticipated to bring numerous changes, particularly in terms of design and features. Maruti Suzuki may introduce a range of new features, especially focusing on enhancing safety in the new 2024 Dzire.
Maruti Suzuki Dzire Facelift - Design and Features
The upcoming new Dzire will sport an exterior design that aligns with the recently launched fourth-generation Swift. Inside, the compact sedan will boast a refreshed and contemporary cabin featuring a 9-inch, standalone touchscreen display, a segment first sunroof in its segment, redesigned HVAC controls and an updated dashboard. Safety-wise, the Maruti sedan will come equipped with six airbags as standard across all variants. It is also anticipated that the new Dzire will retain the Heartect platform and maintain similar dimensions to its predecessor.
Maruti Suzuki Dzire Facelift - Engine
Maruti Suzuki's recent announcement during the launch of the new 2024 Swift hinted at a broader strategy to revamp engines across its entire lineup. This news has led to speculations that the upcoming Dzire facelift will also feature an engine upgrade. Reports suggest that the new Z series engine will power this compact sedan, promising improved performance and efficiency.

In the new Swift hatchback, Maruti Suzuki introduced a 1.2-litre Z series engine with three cylinders, delivering impressive power and torque. The same engine is expected to be carried over to the upcoming 2024 Dzire facelift, offering a power output of 82 bhp and 112 Nm of torque. It is likely that Maruti will continue to offer both 5-speed manual and AMT transmission options, providing customers with a choice based on their preferences.
