Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2024: Maruti Suzuki, one of the largest automobile manufacturers in India is participating in the ongoing Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2024. The manufacturer has showcased multiple models from its lineup at the show which include the Maruti Suzuki Jimny SUV, Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara, Maruti Suzuki Flex-Fuel powered WagonR and more. However, the highlight of the show is their upcoming electric model, the Maruti Suzuki eVX. The manufacturer has displayed this model earlier at the Auto Expo 2023 and the Japan Mobility Show 2023. 

The Maruti Suzuki eVX will be the first electric car manufactured by the brand and it is expected that the eVX will be launched for the Indian market by the end of 2024. The eVX has also been spotted testing in India while being covered with black tape all over.

Maruti Suzuki eVX - Design 

The prototype of the Maruti Suzuki eVX displayed at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo showcased that it gets new redesigned alloy wheels, LED headlights, DRLs and connected tail lights. The eVX concept currently measures at 4,300 mm long, 1,800 mm wide and 1,600 mm tall. 

Maruti Suzuki eVX - Battery & Driving Range

Maruti Suzuki's eVX is expected to be developed in collaboration with Toyota and it will feature a 60 kWh lithium-ion battery pack that will provide a driving range of 550 km. Additionally, Maruti Suzuki will offer a smaller 48 kWh battery pack which is expected to deliver a driving range of 400 km. The base-level variant of the Maruti Suzuki eVX is anticipated to be equipped with this smaller battery pack.

Maruti Suzuki eVX - Interior 

The interior of the Maruti Suzuki eVX was unveiled at the Japan Mobility Show showcasing several noteworthy features. These features include a contemporary dashboard with two separate digital screens for the infotainment system and the digital instrument cluster, a yoke-shaped two-spoke steering wheel and touch-based controls for climate control and menu navigation. Additionally, the gear selector has been revamped into a rotary knob situated in the center console of the eVX.
