Maruti Suzuki eVX Spotted Testing Again: Maruti Suzuki, one of India’s largest automobile manufacturers is working on its first electric model to be launched in the country. Maruti Suzuki unveiled its first electric vehicle, eVX at the Auto Expo 2023. As per the manufacturer, this EV model is slated to be launched in 2025. Ahead of the launch, the upcoming Maruti Suzuki eVX has been spotted testing in India, revealing details about the EV.

Maruti Suzuki eVX - Exterior Design 

Talking about the exterior appearance of the upcoming eVX, it features a charging port that has been positioned on  the front left fender. This positioning has been done very cleverly as it will help in minimising vulnerability to frontal collisions. The spy shots also reveal that the upcoming eVX will be equipped with front and side cameras, enabling a 360-degree view for enhanced safety. In terms of styling elements, it features new headlamps, multi-spoke alloy wheels, rear door handles on the C-pillar, and a sleek shark-fin antenna. The Maruti Suzuki eVX does not get a front grille as it is a typical design aesthetic in electric vehicles. However, the eVX showcases an air dam to aid in cooling its electrical components.

Maruti Suzuki eVX - Interior & Features 

Moving inside the upcoming Maruti Suzuki eVX, it is expected to be equipped with features such as a wireless charger, front-ventilated seats, a digital instrument cluster, automatic climate control, and electric adjustments for the driver's seat. Additionally, it is expected to boast a large touchscreen infotainment system compatible with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.

Maruti Suzuki eVX - Battery & Range 

Talking about the powertrain of the Maruti Suzuki eVX, it is expected to be built on an advanced electric skateboard platform. It is likely that it will be equipped with a 60 kWh battery pack that will offer a claimed range of approximately 550 km. Post the launch of the Maruti Suzuki eVX, the manufacturer aims to make significant strides in the electric vehicle market, signalling a new era of innovation and sustainability.
