Maruti Suzuki, India’s largest automobile manufacturer on Wednesday announced the prices of the highly anticipated Jimny SUV. The company unveiled the car at Auto Expo 2023 along with the Maruti Suzuki Fronx and witnessed record bookings since it started taking the pre-orders.
Maruti Suzuki Jimny Price In India:
The Maruti Suzuki Jimny is currently offered at a starting price of Rs. 12.74 lakh (ex-showroom), and customers may reserve their SUV by paying a Rs 25,000 booking fee. There are two Maruti Suzuki Jimny variations: Zeta and Alpha. Sizzling Red, Nexa Blue, Granite Grey, Pearl Arctic White, Bluish Black, Sizzling Red with a Bluish Black roof, and Kinetic Yellow with a Bluish Black roof are the seven different colours available for them.

Maruti Jimny Zeta MT: Rs. 12.74 lakh
Maruti Jimny Zeta AT: Rs. 13.94 lakh

Maruti Jimny Alpha AT: Rs. 14.89 lakh

Maruti Suzuki Jimny Powertrain, Mileage
Jimny only gets a single 1.5-litre, four-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol engine that can churn out a maximum power of 105 hp and a peak torque of 134 Nm. It comes with a 5 speed manual or 4 speed torque converter transmission.
Speaking of the range, the company claims that the SUV can offer a good 16.94 kmpl mileage with the manual transmission and the automatic torque converter can churn out a 16.39 kmpl mileage.

The vehicle features AllGrip Pro 4WD with a manual transfer case, 2WD high, 4WD high, and 4WD low modes, as well as a 5-door configuration that provides it an advantage over the Mahindra Thar and a good 210 mm of ground clearance.

The top model Jimny model includes a 9-inch touchscreen system, automated climate control, keyless entry, cruise control, and other features in addition to fully automatic LED headlamps. In terms of security measures, the car comes standard with six airbags, ESP, and hill-hold assistance.
