This defect could lead to engine stalling or starting issues, prompting the company to take proactive measures to ensure customer safety. Maruti Suzuki has announced that affected vehicle owners will be contacted by authorised dealer workshops for the replacement of the faulty fuel pump. This replacement will be provided to customers at no cost.

Both the Baleno and WagonR are among Maruti Suzuki's popular models, catering to different segments of the market. The WagonR's price ranges from Rs 5.54 lakh to Rs 7.38 lakh, while the Baleno is priced between Rs 8.07 lakh and Rs 11.68 lakh (ex-showroom).
