Mercedes-AMG GLE 53 Coupe Facelift Launched: German luxury automaker Mercedes-Benz has launched the AMG GLE 53 Coupe facelift for the Indian market. The Mercedes-AMG GLE 53 Coupe has been launched in India at a price of Rs 1.85 crore (ex-showroom). The new facelift coupe SUV has been updated with some styling elements on its exterior, new tech features in the cabin and also gets some mechanical updates.
Mercedes-AMG GLE 53 Coupe Facelift - Design
In terms of design changes, the AMG GLE 53 Coupe gets updated LED daytime running lights (DRLs), modified lower section of the front bumper, Mercedes-Benz star has been replaced with the 'AMG' emblem on the hood, larger 22-inch forged 10-twin-spoke alloy wheels and new LED tail lights. Moreover, the AMG GLE 53 Coupe has been launched with two new colour scheme options - Alpine Grey Uni and Sodalite Blue Metallic.
Mercedes-AMG GLE 53 Coupe Facelift - Interior and Cabin
Moving inside the sportier AMG GLE 53 Coupe, it is available in two interior theme options - Bahia Brown and Black or Macchiato Beige and Black. Other notable visual enhancements within the cabin include a new AMG-specific steering wheel in carbon fibre finish and new seat upholstery. Talking about the features, it gets a panoramic sunroof, heated front seats, a powerful 590W Burmester sound system with 13 speakers, dual 12.3-inch digital displays for the infotainment system and instrument cluster, a heads-up display, and 4-zone climate control.
Mercedes-AMG GLE 53 Coupe Facelift - Powertrain
In terms of powertrain, the AMG GLE 53 Coupe facelift remains unchanged compared to its predecessor. It is powered by a 3.0-litre six-cylinder turbo-petrol engine that produces a power output of 435 bhp and 560 Nm of torque. It is coupled to a 9-speed automatic transmission and a 4Matic AWD system. However, a notable addition is the introduction of a new 48V mild-hybrid system that proovied an extra 20 bhp of output and 200 Nm of torque.
