Mercedes-AMG G63 India Inspired: Mercedes is gearing up to launch a new collector’s edition of its AMG G63 SUV on June 12, 2025. Mercedes-AMG G63 is one of the most popular SUVs among high-end luxury buyers, and it is the first time that the brand is coming up with an ‘India Inspired’ edition. The collector’s edition is expected to be limited in numbers, and it will pay tribute to the rich Indian Handicrafts and arts.

While details about the upcoming Mercedes-AMG G63 collector’s edition are not available currently, it is expected to offer tailored upholstery options to customers. It is also expected that the interior and exterior will have some special pieces with Indian themes and aesthetics. Mercedes-Benz has revealed that the India-inspired collector’s edition was constructed by the Indian Team of the brand and Mercedes-Benz Research and Development.

Mercedes AMG G63 ‘India Inspired’: Powertrain

While the brand is providing its flagship SUV with some major changes in terms of styling and aesthetics, it will retain the same powertrain options offered with the regular AMG G63. The Mercedes AMG G63 is powered by a 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 engine, which has been electrified with a 48V mild-hybrid technology. The powerful mill on the AMG G63 generates 585 hp and 850 NM of Torque, and it goes from 0-100 Km/h in just 4.4 seconds. Prices for the regular Mercedes AMG G63 start from Rs 3.6 crore (Ex-showroom) in India.
