MG Hector Price: JSW MG-Motor India announced a price hike across its entire portfolio in India recently. The price hike came into effect from April 1, 2026, and the MG Hector and MG Hector Plus have become costlier by up to Rs 30,000 as a result. The 2025 MG Hector was launched in India in December 2025. Let’s take a look at the variant-wise increase in price, along with the features and specs of the MG Hector.
MG Hector & Hector Plus: New Prices
As informed earlier, the MG Hector and MG Hector Plus have received a price hike of up to Rs 30,000. While the MG Hector is now dearer by up to Rs 30,000, the MG Hector Plus has received a uniform price hike of Rs 20,000. You can check the variant-wise price hike of the MG Hector in the table below:

MG Hector Features
The new MG Hector features a dual-tone cabin with an ice grey shade in the 5-seater variant, dual-tone purple-tan shades in Hector Plus trims. The new Hector also gets Hydra gloss finish accents and Infinity speakers by Harman inside the cabin. It also comes with ventilated seats, rear AC vents, and an electrically powered tailgate. The new Hector now also features touch gesture control, and the touchscreen comes with a faster touch response and operation, thanks to the new RAM boost technology. It also gets a 360-degree camera with a wheel view, i-smart with more than 100 voice commands, a wireless charger, a digital Bluetooth key, walk away auto car lock, and unlock, and more.

MG Hector Powertrain
While the MG Hector received some changes in the form of design and interior, it remains completely unchanged in terms of powertrain. The new MG Hector retains the multiple powertrain options offered with the outgoing model. The outgoing model of the Hector comes equipped with a choice of either a 1.5-litre turbo petrol or a 2.0-litre turbo diesel engine. The Hector is also available with a 48V mild hybrid technology, and the transmission options include a manual transmission as well as a CVT transmission. The diesel is solely available with the 6-speed manual transmission.
