MG Windsor EV Sales: The MG Windsor EV, launched in late September 2024, has recently driven past the 50,000-unit sales mark in the Indian market. MG's electric vehicle took over a year to achieve this milestone, becoming the country's first four-wheeler EV to do so in 400 days. This translates to an average sales rate of 5 units per hour since launch. MG had already delivered 19,394 units in FY2025, enabling the Windsor EV to overtake the Tata Punch EV (17,966 units) and establish itself as India's highest-selling EV.

MG attributed its success to the Windsor EV's performance, 'AeroGlide' design, innovative BaaS model, and tech-laden cabin, while highlighting the vehicle's strong customer demand beyond metros. The limited-edition Windsor Inspire was also introduced in October 2025, commemorating the Windsor's first year on sale in the country. Unveiled by Union Minister Nitin Gadkari, the Windsor Inspire gets blacked-out design elements and red accents around the cabin.
