MG Motor India has slashed down the prices of their popular ZS EV. Price reductions for the electric SUV start from Rs 50,000 and go up to Rs 2.30 lakh. The MG ZS EV is offered in three variants - Excite, Exclusive, and Exclusive Pro. It is offered in four different colour scheme options that include Glaze Red, Aurora Silver, Starry Black, and Candy White.

MG ZS EV - Performance 

Talking about the powertrain specifications of the ZS EV, it is equipped with a front-axle-mounted permanent magnet synchronous motor that generates a power output of 177 bhp and 280 Nm of torque. It can accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 8.5 seconds and offers three drive modes - Eco, Normal, and Sport. It gets a 50.3 kWh battery pack that offers a driving range of 461 km after being fully charged. Using a DC charger, this battery pack can be charged from 0-80 per cent in an hour and will take 9 hours to fully charge the battery is a 7.4kW charger is used.

MG ZS EV - Features 

The MG ZS EV comes equipped with a foray of features like LED headlamps, LED taillamps, 17-inch alloy wheels,360-degree camera, panoramic sunroof, a 10.1-inch touchscreen, wireless charger, a 7-inch digital instrument cluster, connected car tech and segment-first Digital Key. At the safety front, the ZS EV includes safety features like six airbags, ABS with EBD, electronic stability control and hill descent control. The EV is also equipped with Level-2 ADAS technology that enables features like adaptive cruise control, lane departure warning, automatic emergency braking, and blind spot detection system.
