All About The Iconic Porsche 911 GT3 RS
The Porsche 911 GT3 RS stands out from the standard 911 with significant aerodynamic enhancements, featuring a drag reduction system and the largest rear wing ever fitted on a road-going 911. This model borrows extensively from the 911 GT3R race car, making it exceptionally race-ready.
Under the hood, the GT3 RS is powered by a 4.0-litre flat-six engine that generates a power output of 518 bhp and 465 Nm of peak torque. This engine is mated to a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission with shorter gear ratios than the standard 911. The car can sprint from 0-100 kmph in just 3.2 seconds and reach 200 kmph in 10.6 seconds, with a top speed capped at 296 km/h. The 911 GT3 RS features three drive modes - Normal, Sport and Track.

For the first time, the 911 GT3 RS is equipped with a drag reduction system (DRS) that flattens the wings to reduce drag, improving straight-line speed and braking. The car also boasts larger front brakes with pistons measuring 36 mm thick and 32 mm in diameter. Despite these upgrades, the kerb weight is just 1,450 kg, only 20 kg more than its predecessor.
