Toyota has once again paused bookings for the top-spec ZX and ZX (O) hybrid variants of the Innova Hycross, due to prolonged waiting times. The waiting period for these hybrid MPV variants now extends to 14 months or more. Bookings will likely reopen when the waiting times decrease to more manageable levels.

Toyota had previously stopped taking orders for these top variants in April 2023 and then resumed them a year later in April 2024. However, just weeks after reopening, the waiting period has once again surged past a year. Although Toyota is yet to provide an official statement, supply issues are likely the main cause of this decision.

As of May 2024, the Innova Hycross hybrid is available in the VX and VX (O) variants, which also face long waiting times of up to 14 months. In contrast, the non-hybrid petrol variants have a waiting period of around six months. Notably, the Hycross' waiting period surpasses that of Toyota's flagship Vellfire MPV, which stands at 12 months. The VX and VX (O) hybrid variants of the Innova Hycross are priced starting from Rs 25.97 lakh (ex-showroom).

The top-spec hybrid variants of the Innova Hycross come loaded with features such as a 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a 7-inch digital driver’s display, dual-zone climate control, ventilated front seats, a panoramic sunroof, and a wireless phone charger. Safety features include six airbags, a 360-degree camera, a tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS), front and rear parking sensors, and a full suite of advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) with lane-keep and departure assist, adaptive cruise control and auto-emergency braking.

In addition to this, in April 2024, Toyota introduced a new base variant, the GX (O), priced at Rs 20.99 lakh (ex-showroom). This variant is available in both seven and eight-seat configurations and is powered by a 2.0-litre petrol engine, excluding hybrid technology.
