National Lok Adalat 2024 Karnataka: The National Lok Adalat in Bangalore which was scheduled to take place on March 9 has been postponed to March 16. This decision was made following a directive from the Karnataka State Legal Services Authority (KSLSA). The Chief Justice of the Karnataka High Court, who is also the patron in chief of KSLSA has approved the rescheduling of the schedule of the National Lok Adalat 2024 in Bangalore.

An official statement urged all litigants, the public, and advocates to participate in the Lok Adalat and cooperate. A letter from the Member Secretary of KSLSA, Jaishankar, emphasised on the importance of focusing on cases related to the Negotiable Instruments Act, bank suits, and commercial disputes during the rescheduled National Lok Adalat on March 16.

National Lok Adalat 2024 in Bangalore 

Additionally, apart from addressing pending bank suits and commercial disputes, Lok Adalats also provide an opportunity for individuals to settle their traffic challans by paying a nominal fee. If you have a pending challan for violations like driving without a valid licence, insurance, permit, or vehicle fitness certificate. Lok Adalat can resolve these issues by either paying a small fee or, in some cases, completely waiving off the challan. This is applicable to both commercial and private vehicles. To reduce or completely waive off your challan, you must follow a specific procedure to obtain a token for your challan. This token will then be presented to the Lok Adalat for further processing.
