GST Rates 2025:  Citroen, the French car manufacturer, has announced a price cut of up to Rs 2.7 lakh in India, following the recently announced new GST rates. The brand will pass on the full benefits of the GST rate cut to its consumers, and the revised prices will take effect from September 22, 2025, onwards.

Citroen C3, Basalt X, And More: Detailed Price Cut

The post-GST reshuffle price benefit on Citroen cars ranges between Rs 50,000 and Rs 2.7 lakh. The C3 hatchback and C3 X have received a price cut of up to Rs 84,000, whereas the C3 Aircross SUV has received a price benefit of up to Rs 50,000 (for 5 and 7-seater models). The prices for the Basalt and Basalt X now start at Rs 7.95 lakh (ex-showroom), and the premium C5 Aircross SUV by the brand has received a price revision of up to Rs 2.7 lakh.

Citroen Plan In India

Citroën India recently launched its strategic roadmap, Citroën 2.0, in India. Under the Citroen 2.0, the brand is planning on expanding its dealership network in the country, while improving its service reach. The brand has also launched a new X variant of the Basalt Coupe-SUV, which comes equipped with features such as a 10.2-inch touchscreen, wireless Android Auto/Apple CarPlay, an automatic inside rearview mirror, ventilated front seats, a tropicalised air-conditioning system capable of cooling down to 14 Degrees Celsius, Proxi-sense passive entry, a push-start system, white ambient lighting, and LED fog lamps.
