Swift Price in India: The Swift, Suzuki Motor Corporation's popular hatchback, underwent rigorous Australasian NCAP (New Car Assessment Programme) safety evaluations in December last year. Even with 6 airbags (standard), an ADAS suite, and rear parking sensors with a camera, the hatchback scored a one-star ANCAP safety rating, although it did get a 3-star safety rating from Euro NCAP.
Let's cut to the chase. The same model has now received a 3-star crash test safety rating from ANCAP, thanks to safety upgrades introduced in September 2025. While the model tested earlier was manufactured before August 2025, the vehicle tested later was manufactured in August 2025. Note that the test model is an international-spec unit, which is currently in its fourth generation.

Protection was marked 'good' for the remaining critical body areas.
The Swift received 3.52/8 points in the frontal offset, 7.04/8 in the full-width frontal, 5.51/6 in the side impact, and 6/6 in the oblique pole test. However, the independent testing body did not conduct tests to measure potential injury risk in far-side impacts.
