Mercedes-Benz GLC EV: The Mercedes-Benz GLC electric will be launched in India on November 4, 2026. The brand will offer the GLC electric in the 400 4Matic guise in the Indian market, and it will be locally produced at the brand’s Chakan Plant in Pune. According to the brand, the GLC electric will become the fastest global model to arrive in the country, after its sales began in Europe only 6 months ago.
Mercedes-Benz GLC Electric: Exterior
The Mercedes-Benz GLC electric features the modern design language of the brand’s other new models. At the front, it features a squircle closed grille with the brand’s logo in the centre. It gets eyebrow-shaped, three-pointed LED DRLs and LED headlights. Large air vents are placed below the grille, and there is a lower lip in silver colour.
On the sides, a sloping roofline can be seen with dual-tone ORVMs and a chrome window surround. It also gets traditional flush-fitting door handles, 21-inch alloy wheels, and slim body cladding. At the rear, the GLC gets a connected setup with star-shaped LED taillights and the brand’s logo in the centre.

Mercedes-Benz GLC Electric: Interior
The Mercedes-Benz GLC electric comes equipped with a 39.1-inch MBUX hyperscreen. The brand claims that it is the largest display to be fitted on a Mercedes-Benz car. The hyperscreen integrates the driver’s display, infotainment system, and a display for passenger entertainment. Additional features include multi-way powered front seats with ventilation, heating, and massage functions. It also features 64-colour ambient lighting, a skyroof, and a Burmester 4D surround sound system.

Mercedes-Benz GLC Electric: Range & Specs
The Mercedes-Benz GLC electric comes packed with a 94 kWh battery pack. The GLC electric uses a dual electric motor setup with All-Wheel Drive (AWD). The drivetrain on the GLC electric can generate peak power and torque output of 490 hp and 800 Nm, respectively. The electric SUV can sprint from 0-100 km/h in 4.3 seconds. It supports DC fast charging of up to 330 kW, and the brand claims that 300 km worth of range can be added in 10 minutes of charging.
