Volkswagen Virtus Facelift India Launch:  Several prototypes of the Volkswagen Virtus facelift 2026 have been spied on multiple occasions in the country. The brand is expected to launch the Virtus facelift soon in the country. Notably, the Slavia facelift has been launched in the Indian market, and the Honda City facelift, along with the Hyundai Verna facelift, have also been launched.

Volkswagen Virtus Facelift: Expected Design

The prototype of the Volkswagen Virtus facelift was spied partially camouflaged, particularly at the front and rear ends. The Virtus facelift is expected to feature a revised set of LED DRLs, and the LED headlamps are expected to get a revised design too. The taillights on the test mule also seem to be revised, and a connecting light bar is also expected at the rear. It is also expected to receive a new set of alloy wheels, an illuminated VW logo, and a red brake calliper that will be limited to the top-spec GT trims.

Volkswagen Virtus Facelift: Expected Features

The Volkswagen Virtus facelift 2026 is expected to receive minor updates inside the cabin. The Virtus facelift is expected to receive new and premium upholstery materials on the interior. It is also expected to feature a larger touchscreen for the infotainment system with a new UI, sequential turn indicators, a panoramic sunroof, rear massaging seats, and more.

Volkswagen Virtus Facelift: Expected Engine Specs

While the Volkswagen Virtus facelift is expected to receive changes in terms of design and features, it is expected to remain completely unchanged in terms of its powertrain. The Virtus facelift 2026 will continue with the options of either a 1.0-litre TSI turbo petrol engine or a 1.5-litre TSI turbo petrol engine. The engine can be paired with a choice of either a 6-speed manual/automatic transmission or a 7-speed DSG transmission. While the 1.0-litre TSI generates 115 PS and 178 Nm of torque, the 1.5-litre TSI turbo petrol unit can churn out a peak power and torque output of 150 PS and 250 Nm, respectively.
