Nissan Gravite MPV: The Nissan Gravite is a 7-seater affordable MPV offering from the brand, which is expected to be launched in India in 2026. The Gravite by Nissan shares its CMF-A platform with the Renault Triber MPV, and post-launch, it will compete against the Triber in the Indian market. The prototype of the Nissan Gravite MPV was recently spied on the Indian roads. Let’s take a look at the expected design, features, and powertrain of the upcoming Nissan Gravite.
Nissan Gravite: Expected Design
The front fascia, along with the rear section of the MPVs were revealed recently during the name announcement event. At the front, the Gravite gets a chunky, blacked-out grille with the Nissan logo placed in the centre, and the Gravite lettering on the bonnet. It also gets a sculpted bonnet, a connected DRL signature, and a wide light bar, which runs across the width of the bonnet. The Gravite by Nissan also gets chunky air vents on the sides of the front bumper. The rear section of the Nissan Gravite looks very similar to the Triber. However, it features a different taillight unit, a sculpted tailgate with chrome applique, and a blacked-out garnish on the bumper.

Nissan Gravite: Expected Features
The brand has only revealed the exterior of its upcoming Nissan Gravite MPV, and the interior remains hidden. However, we expect it to feature the same dashboard layout as the Renault Triber. Nissan is expected to equip the interior with a different colour scheme to set it apart from the Triber. In terms of features, we expect the upcoming Nissan MPV to feature a 7-inch digital instrument cluster, an 8-inch touchscreen-based infotainment system, rear AC vents, wireless phone charging, and more. We also expect the upcoming Nissan MPV in India to feature six airbags, hill-start assist, a tyre pressure monitoring system, front and rear parking sensors, and a rear-view camera.

We expect the 1.0-litre petrol engine to be offered with options of either a 5-speed manual or a 5-speed automatic transmission. The engine can generate a peak power and torque output of 76 hp and 95 Nm, respectively.
