Orxa Energies, a Bangalore-based provider of energy solutions and electric vehicles, has formally introduced the Mantis, their flagship electric motorcycle. With a kerb weight of 182 kg, the Mantis is touted as the lightest in its class and comes in Urban Black and Jungle Grey.

Orxa Mantis Range, Battery, Powertrain:

The Mantis is a rival in the electric bike market, with a top speed of 135 km/h. It can accelerate from 0 km/h to 100 km/h in 8.9 seconds. The bike has an amazing range of 221 km (IDC est) with its 8.9 kWh battery pack, and it comes with a 1.3 kW charger. Notably, the acceleration from 0 to 20 km/h has been shortened to 2.7 seconds to account for the dynamics of city traffic.

Derived from Orxa Energies' extensive work in the Defence and Aerospace sectors, the Mantis incorporates cutting-edge technology. Dr. Prajwal Sabnis, Co-Founder of Orxa Energies, remarked, "Our journey began in 2015, and we translated our vision into the prototype of what would ultimately become the Mantis.
