Putin India News:  The Russian President Vladimir Putin is on his two-day visit to India, and he recently landed at Delhi’s Palam Airport. While earlier it was being speculated that Foreign Affairs Minister S Jaishankar would receive the Russian President, the whole scenario changed when PM Modi decided to welcome his friend himself at the Palam Airport, Delhi. PM Modi also ditched his Range Rover to travel in the same car with the Russian President.

PM Modi And Putin Share A Toyota Fortuner

The Toyota Fortuner, which was used by PM Modi and Russian President Vladimir Putin, had a Maharashtra Central number plate, and it was not even a VIP vehicle registration plate. The Toyota Fortuner with the vehicle registration number ‘MH01EN5795’ is 1 year and 7 months old, and it is registered for Addl. Commissioner Of Police, Mumbai.

Not The First Time

The Russian President and PM Modi were seen travelling in the same car for the second time, as they sat inside a white Toyota Fortuner. Earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin was seen sharing his presidential car, the Auras Senat, with PM Modi at the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) summit in Tianjin, China.
