Porsche Macan EV - Performance

Porsche’s new electric Macan has been developed similar to the Audi Q6 E-tron as it borrows the Premium Platform Electric (PPE) architecture, chassis components, batteries and power electronics from the Audi model. The upcoming electric Cayenne will also be built on the same PPE architecture. The Porsche Macan EV is equipped with dual permanent synchronous motors and a single-speed gearbox on each axle which enables the EV to deliver a power output of 639 bhp and 1,130 Nm of torque. The turbo variant boasts an acceleration time from 0-100 kmph in just 3.3 seconds and can achieve a top speed of 260 kmph. The Macan's 95kWh battery supports fast charging at up to 270kW on an 800V DC system, allowing a 10-80 percent charge in just 21 minutes. The official WLTP ranges are estimated at 613 km for the Macan 4 and 591 km for the Macan Turbo.

Porsche Macan EV - Interior & Features

The interior of the electric Macan mirrors the current Porsche Cayenne. It is equipped with three digital displays which includes a standard 12.6-inch curved instrument cluster and a 10.9-inch infotainment touchscreen. An optional 10.9-inch touchscreen for the passenger is also available, allowing them to stream videos and control various functions. Similar to the Cayenne, the gear selector has been relocated from the centre console to a higher position on the dashboard, creating extra space for two cup holders and a smartphone charging pad within the centre console.
