Kawasaki Versys-X 300 Discount: Kawasaki fans looking to buy a budget-friendly adventure bike may have found the right time to do so, as the Japanese brand is currently offering a year-end discount of Rs 25,000 on the entry-level adventurer tourer, the Versys-X 300. The discount offer can be availed of in the form of a voucher, which is redeemable against the ex-showroom price of Rs 3.49 lakh at the time of purchase. With the discount, the ex-showroom price of the Versys-X 300 falls to Rs 3.24 lakh.  

It is important to note that the Rs 25,000 discount applies to MY2025 units of the Versys-X 300, while the 2026 Kawasaki Versys-X 300 is available at an ex-showroom price of Rs 3.49 lakh (ex-showroom). Cosmetic differences aside, both models are very similar to each other. Now, let's take a quick look at the specifications:

Kawasaki Versys-X 300: Engine, Hardware

Although the Versys-X 300 is equipped with a smaller 296cc liquid-cooled engine compared to the Royal Enfield Himalayan 450's, it gets a twin-cylinder setup. Power and torque figures stand at 38.8bhp at 11,500rpm and 26Nm of peak torque at 10,000rpm, respectively. The engine is mated to a 6-speed gearbox, accompanied by an assist and slipper clutch.

A 41mm telescopic fork (with 130mm travel) and a rear monoshock (with 148mm travel) handle suspension, while a 290mm front disc and a 220mm rear disc take care of braking. The ADV runs on a 19/17-inch spoke wheel setup and features 180mm of ground clearance, an 815mm seat height, and a 17-litre fuel tank. The kerb weight stands at 175kg. Other highlights include a digi-analogue instrument console, dual-channel ABS, a tall visor, a relaxed riding position, and an LED taillamp. 

In terms of market competition, the Versys-X 300 competes with the KTM 390 Adventure and the Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 in the segment.
