Skoda Enyaq EV Launch: Skoda Auto India recently showcased the Enyaq EV in India at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo. Skoda Enyaq EV will be the Czech automaker’s first electric offering in the country. As per reports by Rushlane, it is expected that the Skoda Enyaq EV will be launched in India on February 27. However, there has been no confirmation from Skoda on the launch of the Enyaq EV in the country.

Before being showcased at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo, the Skoda Enyaq EV has been spotted testing in India in December 2023. The Enyaq EV will be brought to India via the CBU route and will be built on Skoda’s MEB platform. This platform is also utilized in other models such as the Volkswagen ID.4 and Audi Q4 e-tron crossovers. The Volkswagen ID.4 is also anticipated to be launched in India soon.
Skoda Enyaq EV - Interior & Features
Skoda Enyaq's interior is expected to boast modern features such as a 360-degree camera, dual digital displays, an advanced driver assistance system (ADAS), a multifunction steering wheel, leatherette upholstery for the cabin, a centre console connected to the front centre armrest, and an ambient lighting strip spanning the width of the dashboard.

Skoda Enyaq EV - Battery, Range & Performance
Globally, the Skoda Enyaq is offered in five trim levels. However, in India, it is expected to be available in the Enyaq 80 variant. This variant is equipped with a 77 kWh battery pack that offers a WLTP claimed range of 500 km. The Enyaq 80 features a rear-mounted electric motor that generates a power output of 200 bhp and peak torque of 310 Nm. Furthermore, it can accelerate from 0 to 100 kmph in 8.5 seconds.
Skoda Enyaq EV - Expected Price
The Skoda Enyaq is anticipated to be priced around Rs 50 lakh (ex-showroom) after its launch. It will enter a competitive segment, facing rivals like the Kia EV6, Hyundai Ioniq 5 and Volvo XC40 Recharge.
