Skoda Kylaq GST Price Change: Following the latest GST update, Skoda Auto India has announced a significant price reduction across its product portfolio, including its most affordable Kylaq compact SUV. Come September 22, the brand will pass on the full GST benefits to its customers, making Skoda cars more affordable than before.

Which Skoda Car Gets the Max. Benefit?

Skoda Auto retails 4 models in India: Kylaq, Kushaq, Kodiaq, and Slavia. Depending on the model and variant, Skoda says that its vehicles will become more accessible with reductions of up to Rs 3.28 lakh. The brand's flagship model, the Kodiaq, will see maximum price drops of up to Rs 3.28 lakh, while the Kushaq and the Slavia, both based on the MQB-A0-IN platform, will benefit from reductions up to Rs 65,828 and Rs 63,207, respectively. Skoda's most affordable model, the Kylaq SUV, will become cheaper by up to Rs 1.19 lakh.

Skoda Kylaq: Specs

Launched in November 2024, the Kylaq is currently priced from Rs 8.25 lakh for the standard Classic MT variant to Rs 13.99 lakh for the top-end Prestige AT (all prices, ex-showroom). Despite being a relatively new model in the compact SUV segment, the Kylaq is one of the few vehicles with a 5-star crash test safety rating from Bharat NCAP. It comes with traction control, TPMS, hill hold control, 3-point seatbelts, and ISOFIX mounts. 6 airbags are standard.

Volkswagen Cars: Prices Drop by Rs 3.27 Lakh

Like Skoda, Volkswagen has also announced price cuts across its models. With effect from September 22, the Volkswagen Virtus, Taigun, and Tiguan R-Line will become less expensive by up to Rs 3.27 lakh.
