Steelbird Hi-Tech has proudly announced that it has achieved the milestone of becoming the world's largest helmet manufacturer, thanks to its remarkable growth in the fiscal year 2023-24. With revenues surpassing Rs 711 crore during this period, the company has experienced a significant growth rate of 27 per cent compared to the previous fiscal year.
This remarkable accomplishment underscores Steelbird's steadfast commitment to safety, quality, and innovation. Mr. Rajeev Kapur, who is undoubtedly the driving force behind Steelbird's journey, stated, "Our mission has always revolved around prioritizing rider safety. Having recorded an impressive global sales figure of more than 8 Million units, Steelbird helmets have become synonymous with trust and reliability amongst riders worldwide.
The expansion of Steelbird manufacturing facilities, including a new line in Baddi, showcases Steelbird’s commitment to meeting the growing demands of its customers. Steelbird plans to produce 50000 helmets per day. This will not only expand Steelbird’s manufacturing capacity, it will also significantly enhance road safety in several ways. The decision to establish a new Greenfield manufacturing facility in Hosur also reflects Steelbird's commitment to empowering local communities and fostering growth opportunities. This year Steelbird has had over 200 exclusive rider shops helping riders choose their perfect style and also service their helmets. To better serve the riders, Steelbird plans to expand the rider shops from 200 to 1000+ within a few years.
