Suzuki Fronx Crash Test Rating: The 2025 version of the Suzuki Fronx has secured a 5-star safety rating in the latest round of the crash test conducted by the New Car Assessment Program for Southeast Asian Countries (ASEAN NCAP). The variant tested is made in India and sold in Southeast Asian markets. It featured a 1.5-litre petrol engine paired with a 6-speed automatic transmission under its hood, and came equipped with 6 airbags, ESC, and ISOFIX seat mounts as standard. It was also available with ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), which is not offered in the India-spec model.

Suzuki Fronx Adult Occupant Protection 

Out of a maximum score of 32 for adult occupant protection (AOP), the Suzuki Fronx scored 29.37 points. The compact SUV secured 13.74 points out of 16 for the frontal impact test, 7.63 out of 8 points for the side impact test, and a full 8 out of 8 for the head protection technology onboard the Fronx. 

According to the test report, the SUV's frontal occupant compartment remained stable in the frontal offset test. Protection for front-seat occupants' chests was rated adequate. However, lower leg protection for the driver was rated marginal. In the side impact test, the vehicle offered adequate protection to the driver's chest.

Suzuki Fronx Child Occupant Protection 

The Suzuki Fronx secured an overall 38.94 points out of 51 points for child occupant protection (COP), scoring 17.94 points in dynamic tests, 9 in the vehicle-based assessment, and 12 for the child seat installation. The 18-month-old and 3-year-old dummies were tested in rearward-facing and forward-facing child seats, respectively, secured by ISOFIX anchorages. 

Suzuki Fronx Motorcyclist Safety 

In the Motorcyclist Safety crash test, the Fronx received 8 out of 16 points. Auto High Beam and Blind Spot Detection tech were available as optional, while Pedestrian Protection was standard.

Suzuki Fronx Safety Assist

In the Safety Assist category, the Fronx grabbed 16.50 out of 21 points, with ABS, ESC, and seatbelt reminders available as standard. Autonomous Emergency Braking was offered as an option. Advanced safety assist technologies, such as Lane Departure Warning, Lane Keep Assist, and Forward Collision Warning, were either optional or standard, depending on the market.
