Suzuki Jimny 3 Door: The Suzuki Jimny 3-door compact SUV, which is sold in Japan, has received a major safety upgrade in the form of an ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance System) suite. The Japan-spec Suzuki Jimny comes in two variants (Standard and Sierra), with both versions set for the revision on November 4. Alongside, the brand has also mildly revised the bumpers as well as bundled the services supported by the Suzuki Connect platform. Other than that, the SUV remains untouched – same rugged appeal, boxy proportions and compact dimensions.

Maruti Suzuki currently retails the 5-door version of the Jimny off-roader, which has just hit the 1 lakh-unit export milestone since October 2023. While the off-roader offers an AllGrip 4x4 system in India, it does not have ADAS. Although there is no official word, the India-spec model is not believed to feature ADAS in the near future, given the complexities of Indian driving conditions. Having said that, if the demand warrants it, the Jimny 5-door could see the addition of ADAS.
