Tata All Set To Expand EV Lineup In India By Launching THESE Five New Electric Cars | See First Pics Here

Electric vehicles are gaining immense popularity, not only in India but worldwide. Currently, nearly every car manufacturer is introducing new electric cars. This trend extends to the two-wheeler market as well, with prominent names like TVS and Bajaj venturing into e-bikes and e-scooters. Tata Motors, one of the largest car manufacturers in the country currently offers EV models that includes such as the Tata Nexon.ev, Tata Tigor.ev and Tata Tiago.ev. Tata Motors has also revealed plans to launch five more new EV models in the country in the future to expand its EV lineup. Let’s take a look at the upcoming EV models by Tata Motors that will be launched in India.

Tata Punch EV

Tata Punch is the smallest SUV in the vehicles offered by Tata Motors in India. Previously, Tata Motors has revealed plans to launch an EV iteration of the Punch SUV. The Punch EV has been spotted testing multiple times and is anticipated to offer a range of over 300 kilometers on a single charge.

Tata Curvv EV

The Curvv SUV was initially presented as an electric concept but now it will first be launched as an ICE car with plans to follow up with an EV variant in India. The Curvv EV is expected to provide a range of more than 400 to 500 kilometers on a single charge. 

Tata Harrier EV

Tata Motors unveiled the Harrier EV at the Auto Expo 2023 and it's already been seen testing on Indian roads. It is expected that Tata will launch the Harrier EV in a few months. It is expected to be built on Gen 2 EV architecture and will feature both V2L and V2V charging capabilities.

Tata Altroz EV

The EV variant of the Tata Altroz was first introduced at the Auto Expo 2020 and the Tata Altroz EV is eagerly anticipated in India. It is expected that the Tata Altroz EV will provide a driving range of 300 km on a single charge with fast charging capability.

Tata Sierra EV

Tata Motors unveiled the Sierra SUV for the first time at the Auto Expo in 2020 and then the EV iteration of the Sierra SUV were showcased at the Auto Expo 2023. Tata Motors has confirmed the Sierra EV's launch in India by 2025 but there's no official information available about it yet.
