Tata Harrier EV Safety Rating:  Tata Harrier EV has scored a 5-star safety rating in the Bharat NCAP crash test recently. Tata launched the electric iteration of its popular Harrier SUV on June 3, 2025. The Harrier EV has been heavily advertised by the brand ever since its launch. While the brand has been showcasing the capabilities of its electric SUV for some time, people have been eagerly awaiting its safety ratings. Here we are providing all the details about the safety ratings of the Harrier EV, along with its safety features.

Tata Harrier EV: Safety Ratings Explained

The Tata Harrier EV scored a 5-star rating in the crash test, similar to the ICE (Internal Combustion Engine) model. However, it should be noted that the Harrier ICE was tested at Global NCAP, whereas the electric Harrier has been tested in Bharat NCAP. The newly launched Harrier EV scored a 32 out of 32 points for adult occupant protection, whereas it scored 45 points out of 49 for the child occupant’s safety.

Tata Harrier EV: Safety Features

The Tata Harrier EV is one of the brand’s most feature-loaded SUVs, and it comes with a slew of safety features. The Harrier EV comes equipped with features like 7 airbags, a tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS), Level 2 ADAS, Dashcam Recorder, electronic parking brake, hill hold assist, rain sensing wipers, disc brakes for all wheels, automatic headlamps, and AVAS (acoustic vehicle alert system).

Tata Harrier EV: Range

Tata Harrier EV comes equipped with options of a 75 kWh and 65 kWh battery, and the brand claims that it can deliver a range of up to 627 Km in a single charge. However, the real-world range of the electric Harrier stands at 505 Km. The brand also claims that consumers can charge the Harrier EV from 20-80 percent in just 25 minutes using the 120 kW DC fast charger. This option provides you with up to 250 kilometers of range in just 15 minutes. The Harrier EV can be charged at home using the 7.2 kW AC charger. It also gets V2L and V2V functions. The electric version of the Harrier EV also gets a Lifetime warranty for the battery pack.

Tata Harrier EV: Price

While the brand revealed pricing for the rear-wheel drive variants of the electric SUV, prices of the top-spec quad-wheel drive variants are yet to be announced. The Tata Harrier EV rear-wheel drive will be offered in a total of 5 variants, and the price tag ranges from Rs 21.49 lakhs (Ex-showroom) to Rs 27.49 lakhs (Ex-showroom).
