Tata Harrier EV Range: The Tata Harrier EV became the first car to climb the Elephant Rocks in Kerala yesterday. The fully loaded Electric iteration of the Harrier is all set to be launched tomorrow. While the Harrier EV shares its looks with the regular model, some newly added features and the performance differentiate it from the latter. Here we are listing off-road features and the expected range of the Tata Harrier EV.
Tata Harrier EV: Off-Road Features
Tata is quite popular when it comes to teasing their products. The brand did the same with the upcoming Harrier EV, when it put it against the 34-degree elevated climb of the Elephant Rock. The brand shared a video on their official YouTube channel, which has accumulated more than 3 lakh views so far. The video shared by Tata also provided insight into the SUV's off-road features, along with the QWD powertrain. The QWD stands for Quad Wheel Drive, and it’s the name Tata has given to its all-wheel drive system.
The video also provides information about different driving modes, such as the off-road assist, rock-crawl mode, and Beast Mode. The SUV will come equipped with the Transparent Mode, a mode specially designed for off-roading, which enables the driver to see the underbody of the car for any suspicious impact by rocks or boulders.

Tata Harrier EV: Range
The exact specifications of the Harrier EV have not yet been revealed, but the brand claims that the SUV will get a range of more than 500 kilometers in a single charge. The recently released Elephant Rock challenge video by Tata also features a shot of the Instrument Cluster, which is showing 560 kilometers of range with 90 percent remaining battery. This indicates that the Tata Harrier EV might come equipped with a battery ranging between 70-80 kWh, and it might offer a range of up to 600 kilometers in a single charge.

The Harrier EV by Tata is also expected to mirror the same kind of Interior offered with the Curvv EV currently. The recently released teaser video also shows a 12.3-inch free-floating central touchscreen, along with the 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster. Thanks to the features like a bigger battery, off-road modes, and premium interiors, we expect the Tata Harrier EV to be priced between Rs 24 lakhs (Ex-showroom) to Rs 32 lakhs (Ex-showroom).
