Tata Motors Sales January 2026: The year 2026 has commenced on a positive note for Tata Motors as the brand recorded total sales of 71,066 units this year. This marks the brand’s highest-ever monthly sales, and the brand also registered a 47.1 per cent year-on-year growth in the previous month.
Tata Nexon & Punch Lead
The brand’s highest-ever monthly sales were spearheaded by models such as the Tata Nexon and Tata Punch. The Tata Nexon recorded its highest-ever monthly sales, with more than 23,000 units sold in the previous month. The Tata Punch continued its rapid growth, and more than 19,000 units of the SUV were sold in the last month. The cumulative sales of Nexon crossed the 1 million milestone, and the Punch has crossed the cumulative sales milestone of more than 7 lakh units. The brand’s popular hatchback, the Tata Tiago, has also crossed more than 7 lakh cumulative sales. Strong demand has been registered for the brand’s new launches,
Including the Tata Safari and Harrier Petrol and the Tata Sierra.

Tata EV Sales January 2026
As informed earlier, Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles Limited sold a total of 71,066 units in the previous month. While the brand has registered a 46.1 per cent year-on-year increase, it has also recorded a 40.31 per cent increase in monthly sales. The brand sold a total of 50,046 units in December 2025. Tata EV, the electric vehicle manufacturing arm of the brand, registered a 251.7 per cent year-on-year growth with sales of a total of 844 units. Notably, Tata EV had sold a total of 240 units in January 2025.
