Tata Motors is among India’s largest automobile manufacturers, it is also the strongest player in the affordable EV segment of the country. In response to this presence, the manufacturer is all set to launch two new showrooms in Delhi-NCR which will exclusively sell electric models from Tata’s lineup of cars. Tata’s official website states that this showroom will be inaugurated on December 21, that is tomorrow.

Tata Motor’s lineup of vehicles currently comprises three electric models - Nexon EV, Tiago EV and Tigor EV. However, Tata Motors is gearing up to expand its electric vehicle portfolio in 2024 with highly anticipated models such as the Curvv EV, Punch EV, Harrier EV, Safari EV, and Sierra EV.
The Tata EV showrooms will stand out from regular ones as they will feature a unique theme with lively colors. Moreover, these showrooms will go beyond just displaying cars as they will also offer full-service facilities, including DC fast charging stations. Tata Motors' decision to create these special EV-only showrooms shows how serious they are about supporting the electric vehicle revolution in India.

Additionally, to support the transition towards electric vehicles in India, Tata has signed a MoU with Indian Oil Corporation Limited and Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited to set up around 7,500 EV charging stations across the country. These EV charging stations will be set up at the regular pump stations to make it more accessible for the general public. These EV charging points will be installed in major cities like Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata, Bengaluru, Ahmedabad, Pune, and Kochi, as well as across major highways such as the Mumbai-Pune Expressway, Salem-Kochi Highway, Guntur-Chennai Highway and the Golden Quadrilateral, according to a Tata Power statement.
