With cars like Tata Punch, Nexon, Tiago and Tigor, Tata Motors is arguably ruling the electric car market in India. Tata EVs have also gained immense popularity and have become a common sight on Indian roads. Now, with the growing popularity among the masses Tata Passenger Electric Mobility, a division of Tata Motors, has announced the launch of "TATA.ev" as its new brand identity for the EV market.

The brand's new logo represents the 'Move with Meaning' philosophy and brings together the principles of sustainability, community, and technology. Tata. ev will now serve as the brand's identity and be present on all Tata electric vehicles. Tata is also preparing to release ten new electric vehicles by 2026. Tata Nexon EV, Tiago EV, Tigor EV, and XPRES-T EV constitute the company's current lineup of electric vehicles.
Vivek Srivatsa, Head of Marketing, Sales and Service Strategy, at Tata Passenger Electric Mobility Ltd., said, “We are entering a new era with TATA.ev. Our new brand identity for electric vehicles underlines our commitment to accelerate the adoption of clean energy mobility solutions.”
The brand, which displayed the "EV" logo encased in an Orbit, claims that this orbit represents a circular ecosystem of human and environmental interaction, all of which are moving towards the creation of a better future. Tata.ev's Evo Teal colour represents the brand's dedication to a sustainable future.
In order to promote swift EV adoption in India, the company also plans to accelerate the development of a significant charging infrastructure. By 2030, Tata Motors anticipates that sales of its passenger vehicles will be composed primarily of electric vehicles. This year, the company aims to sell about 1 lakh EVs.
