After Safari And Harrier, Tata May Introduce 'Nexon Dark Edition' In March; What To Expect

Tata Nexon Dark Edition Variant: Tata Nexon facelift was launched in India in September, 2023 and unlike other facelifts of Tata SUVs, it did not receive the Dark Edition variants. Tata Harrier and Safari SUV facelifts were launched with their Dark Edition variants. Now, it is being rumoured that Tata Nexon Dark Edition will be launched in India around early March.

Tata Nexon Dark Edition - Variants 

It has not yet been officially confirmed, however, it is anticipated that the Nexon Dark Edition variants will be available in the Creative, Creative+, Creative+ S, Fearless, Fearless S and Fearless+ S trim levels. 

Tata Nexon Dark Edition - Design & Features 

Tata Motors showcased a Dark Edition variant of the Nexon EV at the Bharat Mobility Expo, featuring a fully blacked-out exterior. The Nexon Dark will boast black bumpers, grille, roof rails, alloy wheels and even a darkened Tata logo.  Moving Inside, Tata Nexon Dark Edition variant’s interior is expected to feature a blacked-out dashboard, gloss black centre console, black leatherette upholstery and a black roof liner. The Nexon Dark will boast a range of features including LED daytime running lights and tail-lights, keyless go, automatic climate control, a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay support, a 360-degree camera and sunroof among other features.

Tata Nexon Dark Edition - Engine Specs 

In terms of engine specs, Tata Nexon Dark Edition variants will be available with two engine options - a 1.2-litre turbo petrol engine that produces 120 bhp and a 1.5-litre diesel engine that produces 115 bhp. Both these engines are available with transmission options such as 6-speed manual and 6-AMT. 6-DCT transmission is exclusively available with the turbo petrol engine.
