Electric Car Sales India In 2025:  The Indian electric car segment witnessed massive growth in FY 2025. The MG Windsor emerged as the best-selling electric car in India in 2025. The Windsor left behind the Tata Punch EV, which was the best-selling electric car in 2024. However, Tata remains the segment leader. Let’s take a look at the top 10 best-selling electric cars in 2025 in India.

Out of the top 5 best-selling electric cars in India in 2025, 3 were Tata EVs. Not just that, out of a total of the top 10 best-selling electric cars in India in 2025, 5 were from Tata. This shows the brand’s dominance in the Indian electric car market. Additionally, 2 electric cars from the top 5 bestselling cars were from MG. Whereas a total of 3 cars from MG made it to the top 10 best-selling electric cars in 2025. This marks MG as the emerging leader in India’s electric car segment.

Top 10 Best-Selling EVs

The MG Windsor secured the top position in the EV sales 2025 in India, and the Tata Punch drifted to the second position. The Tata Tiago Ev and Tata Nexon EV remain in third and fourth position, respectively. The MG Comet secured the fifth position in the Indian electric car market.
