Tata Sierra 2025 Launch: Tata Motors has been teasing the Sierra, India's first indigenously developed SUV, for some time now, and new images have surfaced online that give us the clearest look yet at the exterior of the production-spec SUV. The much-awaited Tata Sierra is set to launch in India on November 25. It will be offered in both ICE (Internal Combustion Engine) and EV (Electric Vehicle) guises, with the former expected to go on sale first. Here's a quick look at the exterior design details:
Tata Sierra Official Image Details
From these images, it is clear that the production-spec Tata Sierra will carry over design elements of the show model that was on display at Auto Expo 2025. The upcoming SUV will retain its boxy proportions and all-LED lighting, as well as signature design cues from the OG SUV, such as curved rear windows, a high-set bonnet, and squared-off wheel arches. Modern-day features will include flush-type door handles, a connected LED light strip, and a split headlamp setup. The car is expected to boast freshly designed alloy wheels.

Tata Sierra Interior, Features
The previous teaser reveals a three-screen setup (two infotainment displays and a digital instrument cluster), a 4-spoke steering wheel (with an illuminated Tata logo), an auto-dimming IRVM, touch-sensitive controls, and a dual-tone grey-and-black theme. The interior theme is found in the Curvv EV. In terms of features, the SUV will offer a panoramic sunroof, rear sunshades, dual-zone climate control, a 360-degree camera, and an ADAS suite. Expected bits include ventilated seats, an electronic parking brake, 6 airbags, and wireless connectivity.
Tata Sierra Powertrain
The Tata Sierra ICE is likely to offer a 168bhp, turbocharged petrol engine and a 116bhp, 1.5-litre diesel mill. Both manual and automatic gearbox options are expected to be present. The EV version is likely to join the Sierra lineup at a later stage.
Tata Sierra Price, Rivals
The Sierra ICE will rival the Hyundai Creta, Maruti Suzuki Victoris, Kia Seltos, Skoda Kushaq, Honda Elevate, and the upcoming Renault Duster. Prices are expected to be in the range of Rs 15 lakh–Rs 25 lakh (ex-showroom). The Sierra EV, on the other hand, will be Tata's answer to the Mahindra BE 6 and the Hyundai Creta EV.
