Tata Sierra Price: Tata Motors released the price list for the Sierra's Smart+, Pure, and Adventure variants yesterday, about two weeks after the brand had announced the base variant's price. The Sierra's positioning in the mid-size segment invites rivalry from the Maruti Suzuki Victoris, Hyundai Creta, Skoda Kushaq, and the Honda Elevate. We pit the Sierra against the Maruti Suzuki mid-size SUV and see how they stack up in terms of price.

Tata Sierra Vs Maruti Suzuki Victoris: Price

The Tata Sierra comes in Smart+, Pure, Pure+, Adventure, Adventure+, Accomplished, and Accomplished+ variants, whereas the Victoris is offered in LXi, VXi, ZXi, ZXi (O), ZXi+, and ZXi+ (O) variants. At its price point (Rs 10.50 lakh-Rs 19.99 lakh), the Victoris is more affordable than the Sierra, which starts at Rs 11.49 lakh. At the same starting price as the Sierra, the petrol-CNG-MT version of the Victoris is on offer. With Tata selling CNG variants across the Tiago, Nexon, and Punch, the Sierra might be offered with a CNG powertrain.

Whereas the Victoris' automatic variants start at Rs 13.36 lakh, the Sierra counterparts are priced from Rs 14.49 lakh, costlier here as well. The Sierra Adventure+, the variant below the higher-spec Accomplished and the Accomplished Plus—prices for which are yet to be announced—ranges from Rs 17.19 lakh to Rs 18.49 lakh. Meanwhile, the higher-spec Victoris ZXi+ costs between Rs 15.39 lakh and Rs 19.62 lakh. The Victoris tops out at Rs 19.99 lakh for the ZXi+ (O) strong hybrid, but we still have to wait for Tata to reveal the prices of the two top-spec variants. All prices mentioned are ex-showroom.
