US President Joe Biden is set to visit New Delhi from September 7 to September 10 for the G-20 conference. In preparation for the summit, President Biden's official vehicle has already been shipped to Delhi. Every time the American president travels internationally, he ships his personal vehicle from the US and uses it while he is there.
The US President's car is famously known as "The Beast," and it holds the reputation of being the world's safest vehicle. The car boasts unique features that make it such a secure mode of transport, immune to explosives and bullets. "The Beast" is manufactured by Cadillac and is currently an armoured limousine model. Its exceptional safety features are what set it apart from other vehicles.

The Beast - Exterior Armour
When it comes to the exterior of ‘The Beast’, it boasts military-grade armour that is 5 inches thick. The car's doors are 8 inches thick. The vehicle's weight equals that of the cabin door of a Boeing 757 jet. Once these doors are closed, they form an airtight seal, capable of withstanding chemical attacks. The car's windows are equally robust, made with five layers of glass and polycarbonate. And have formidable strength as they can withstand bullet shots with ease. The car is designed to withstand even bomb attacks. Its chassis has been made stronger with extra steel plates and in the event of an attack or explosion damaging its tires, the car's ability to continue driving remains unrestricted.
‘The Beast’ - Interior Safety Features
‘The Beast’ has a seating capacity of four passengers. It also features a glass partition, which is operated by a switch. This exclusive switch is in control of the President only, offering an extra layer of privacy and security. In addition to these features, the vehicle's trunk is equipped with a fire extinguishing system and dispensers for tear gas and a smoke screen, further enhancing its safety and defensive capabilities.

Additional features for enhanced safety and security
The car is fitted with shotguns and also features the capability to fire tear gas shells when necessary. In case of emergencies, two bags of blood matching the President's blood group are readily available inside the vehicle.
For communication and tracking, there is a communication device and a GPS tracking system situated near the driver's seat. It is also equipped with a front-facing night vision camera discreetly positioned under the grille, further enhancing its surveillance capabilities and ensuring the President's safety during nighttime travel.
