New Hyundai Venue Booking: Hyundai Motor India launched its second-generation Venue compact SUV in early November at a starting ex-showroom price of Rs 7.90 lakh. The price is introductory and will go up eventually. However, the brand had opened order books in late October, when it officially revealed its new Venue. And ever since bookings began, the new Hyundai Venue has seen strong customer demand, with the automaker racking up over 32,000 bookings in India so far. Last month, Hyundai registered overall sales of 66,840 units, underscoring the brand's strong market presence.

New Hyundai Venue: Price, Rivals

A main rival to the Tata Nexon, Skoda Kylaq, and the Mahindra XUV 3XO, the new-generation Venue is offered in 8 variants – HX2, HX4, HX5, HX6, HX6T, HX7, HX8 and HX10 – priced from Rs 7.90 lakh to Rs 15.69 lakh (introductory, ex-showroom).

New Hyundai Venue: Features

The new Hyundai Venue incorporates a tech-laden cabin with twin 12.3-inch displays, a curved, panoramic display, an 8-speaker Bose sound system, an auto-dimming IRVM, ventilated front seats, 2-step reclining rear seats, ambient lighting, an electronic parking brake, a 360-degree camera, and a Level 2 ADAS suite. 

New Hyundai Venue: Engine

Hyundai has equipped the new-generation Venue with three engine options: an 82bhp, 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol, a 118bhp 1.0-litre turbo-petrol, and a 114bhp 1.5-litre diesel. The NA petrol engine can be paired only with a 5-speed manual transmission, while the turbocharged petrol gets either a 6-speed manual or a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic. The diesel unit is also available with two gearbox options: 6-speed manual and 6-speed automatic. In terms of fuel efficiency, Hyundai claims up to 20.99km/l for the facelifted Venue.
