Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder Aero Edition: Toyota India is set to launch a special edition variant of the Urban Cruiser Hyryder compact SUV soon. It is called the Aero Edition and will get an all-black treatment similar to the Hilux Black Edition. While yet to be confirmed, the Aero Edition is expected to debut at Toyota's Drum Tao musical event scheduled for November and December 2025. Under the Toyota-Drum Tao collaboration, Japan's internationally acclaimed performance group, Drum Tao, will perform across 14 Indian cities.
Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder Aero Edition Exterior
According to an official teaser image, the Urban Cruiser Hyryder Aero Edition has an all-black exterior shade, along with blacked-out finishes for the alloy wheels, wing mirrors, grille, and door handles. The flared wheel arches also feature blacked-out cladding.
The new all-black paint scheme will join the existing colour options upon arrival in India. Available colours include Gaming Grey, Enticing Silver, Cafe White, Speedy Blue, and Sportin Red with Midnight Black.

Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder Aero Edition Interior, Features
The cabin is expected to get an all-black finish for the dashboard as well as black upholstery. New trim options are also likely to be offered. Expected features include an 8-way powered driver's seat, ventilated seats, wireless charging, rear AC vents, an electronic parking brake, 6 airbags, and a 360-degree camera.
Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder Aero Edition Powertrain
Under the hood, the Aero Edition is expected to feature the same powertrains: petrol, hybrid, and CNG, mated to their respective gearboxes. Options are a 5-speed manual and a 6-speed automatic.

The upcoming Urban Cruiser Hyryder Aero Edition can be interpreted as Toyota's effort to capitalise on the festive season, as well as the 'Black Edition' trend popularised by Tata Motors. Toyota joined the Black Edition bandwagon in early 2025.
