The TVS Motor Company has announced the launch of the country's first electric two-wheeler racing competition. This is the first time that any Indian company is hosting its entry into the world of EV moto racing. The TVS Racing Electric One Make series (e-OMC) comprises racing on specially built electric TVS Apache RTE race motorcycles.

TVS Racing Electric One Make Championship (e-OMC):

The electric two-wheeler race will happen on September 29, 2023, and will debut at the 4th round of INMRC.

Key Highlights of the Championship:

Debut at INMRC: At the fourth round of the Indian National Motorcycle Road Racing Championship (INMRC), the TVS Racing e-OMC will make its debut.

Selected Riders: Eight carefully chosen riders will compete in the championship's opening round.

Specially Developed Motorcycles: Participants will travel aboard race motorcycles built specifically for this competition, the TVS Apache RTE.

TVS Apache RTE Race Motorcycles Tech:

Power-to-Weight Ratio: These motorcycles, which have a liquid-cooled motor and high-efficiency liquid-cooled motor controller, have the best power-to-weight ratio in their class.

Advanced Battery: A high-power battery pack with cutting-edge technology is included.

Carbon Fiber Construction: Carbon fibre is used to make the battery enclosure and serves as a stressed part of the chassis.

Advanced Battery Management: A specially developed advanced battery management system with race-specific configuration controls and safety measures.

Suspension and Brakes: Brembo brakes, carbon fibre wheels, Pirelli Super Corsa tyres, and custom front and rear suspension from Ohlins.

Aerodynamic Design: Lowest drag carbon fibre fairing with a distinctive livery combining TVS Racing Factory colours and graphics with a sustainability theme.
