Ultraviolette EV Bike Price: Ultraviolette Automotive, the Bengaluru-based EV maker, has launched the X47 electric bike in India. Positioned as a crossover between an adventure tourer and a street naked, the Ultraviolette X47 is priced at Rs 2.49 lakh. The price is introductory (ex-showroom) and valid for the first 1,000 buyers. Following this, the price will be increased to Rs 2.74 lakh (ex-showroom). Bookings for the crossover are now open, while deliveries are scheduled to commence in October 2025.
Ultraviolette X47: Battery, Range
Featuring an F77 platform, albeit with some revisions, the Ultraviolette X47 comes with 7.1kWh and 10.3kWh batteries, delivering IDC ranges of 211km and 323km on a single charge, respectively. The battery is paired with an electric motor churning out 40bhp and 100Nm. 0-100km/h can be achieved in a claimed 8.1 seconds, which falls to 2.7 seconds when reaching 60km/h from a standstill. The top speed is pegged at 145km/h.

Ultraviolette X47: Features, Rider Aids
Instrumentation-wise, the X47 has a 5.0-inch TFT display offering readouts. Rider aids include 3-level traction control, switchable dual-channel ABS, 9-level regen braking, 3 ride modes (Glide, Ballistic, and Combat), and 'UV Hypersense' radar technology. The technology comes standard and enables features such as lane change assist, blind spot detection, object tracking, rear collision warning, and overtake alert.
The X47 also gets dual integrated cameras (which also act as dashcams), as well as a dual-display setup, which sits atop the main instrument console for a real-time feed from front and rear cameras.

Ultraviolette X47: Styling
Although based on the same F77 platform, the X47 crossover features a different chassis and an aluminium sub-frame. Design-wise, the bike has a carved fuel tank, beak-styled front fender, and an angular tail section. The bike can be had in three colour options: Laser Red, Airstrike White, and Shadow Black. The special-edition Desert Wing adds panniers and a rear luggage rack, among other things.
