VinFast VF 6 and VF 7 Price in India: VinFast, the Vietnamese electric vehicle (EV) manufacturer, will reveal the prices of its first electric SUVs for the Indian market today. While EV enthusiasts across the country are curious to learn about the vehicles' India-specific features and battery packs, there is also growing interest in how much the EVs will cost here. Both the VF 6 and the VF 7 are being locally assembled at the brand's manufacturing plant in Thoothukudi, Tamil Nadu, where the VF 7 is expected to be first rolled off the production line.

VinFast VF 6, VF 7: Bookings Open

Bookings for the upcoming VF 6 and VF 7 electric SUVs have been underway for a while, for a token amount of Rs 21,000. The VF 6 is VinFast's mid-size electric vehicle (4,238mm long), taking on the Mahindra BE 6, Hyundai Creta Electric, and the Tata Curvv EV. The larger VF 7 (4,545mm in length) is a crossover aiming squarely at the Tata Harrier EV, Kia EV6, and the Hyundai Ioniq 5.

VinFast VF 6, VF 7: Price, Specs

The VF 6 midsize SUV features a 59.6kWh battery, which sends power to a 201bhp, front axle-mounted motor. The WLTP range is capped at 480km, while the ARAI figure is yet to be revealed. VinFast is likely to offer the SUV in a Plus variant. Expect the smaller VF6 to sport 18-inch alloy wheels and 423-litre boot space, but other elements, including a signature DRL, a touchscreen, and ADAS, will be shared with the VF7. Prices are expected in the Rs 22 lakh-Rs 25 lakh (ex-showroom) range.

Aiming at the premium SUV category, the VF7 is equipped with a 70.8kWh LFP battery pack, supporting both two-wheel-drive and all-wheel-drive setups. The VF7 2WD claims a range of 450km, while the AWD yields 431km (both figures, WLTP). Charging time is yet to be revealed, but the vehicle gets both 7.2kW AC and DC (CCS2) fast charging options. We expect its starting price to cross the 30 lakh mark.
