German car maker Volkswagen has again introduced special edition models of its Taigun SUV and Virtus sedan models for the Indian market. These special edition models get an all-black colour theme and are being called the Deep Black Pearl Taigun and Deep Black Pearl Virtus.
Deep Black Pearl Taigun and Deep Black Pearl Virtus - Design
The Taigun SUV and Virtus sedan in this new variant feature a glossy dark black exterior colour theme. The models remain unchanged apart from the new paint job which also includes contrasting chrome elements on the door handles, front and rear bumpers. Volkswagen has not disclosed any details about the interior of the special edition SUV and sedan.

Deep Black Pearl Taigun and Deep Black Pearl Virtus - Price
The Deep Black Pearl Taigun and Deep Black Pearl Virtus are based on the Topline trim of the standards Taigun and Virtus. The Topline trim for the Volkswagen Taigun SUV is priced between Rs 15.84 lakh and Rs 17.60 lakh (ex-showroom). Whereas, the Topline trim of the Volkswagen Virtus is available within its prices ranging between Rs 14.90 lakh to Rs 16.48 lakh (ex-showroom).
Deep Black Pearl Taigun and Deep Black Pearl Virtus - Powertrain
Talking about the powertrain, both the SUV and sedan retain the same specifications as their standard variants. The Topline trims for the Volkswagen Taigun and Volkswagen Virtus are powered by a 1.0-litre TSI petrol engine that delivers a peak power of 114 bhp. Engines in both these models are paired to either a manual or an automatic gearbox. However, it is not yet known if the Deep Black Pearl Taigun and Deep Black Pearl Virtus will be available with both the manual and automatic variants.

Additional Offers on Taigun SUV
In addition, Vlokswagen is also offering several discounts and deals that go up to Rs 1.46 lakh on the Taigun SUV. The car manufacturer is presenting a variety of benefits totaling up to ₹1.46 lakh on the Taigun SUV. These benefits encompass cash benefits of up to Rs 40,000, exchange benefits reaching up to Rs 40,000 and corporate benefits totaling up to Rs 30,000. Additionally, special benefits of up to Rs 36,000 are also being provided on the Taigun SUV. These offers and discounts are applicable only till December 31, 2023.
