Volkswagen Tayron R-Line:  The Volkswagen Tayron R-Line 7-seater SUV has been revealed by the brand ahead of its official launch in India. The brand is expected to launch the Tayron R-Line by March 2026 in the country, and it will be sold as a Completely Knocked Down (CKD) unit. Let’s take a look at the design and features of the upcoming Volkswagen Tayron R-Line 7-seater SUV in India.

Volkswagen Tayron R-Line: Design

The overall contour of the Volkswagen Tayron R-Line is very sporty. On the front, it gets dual-LED projector headlamps, an LED bar that runs throughout the width of the bonnet with the Volkswagen logo in the centre, and large air intakes incorporated into the sporty bumper. On the sides, it gets thin black body-cladding and 19-inch alloy wheels, which further enhance the sportiness of the SUV. On the rear, it gets a large black garnish on the bumper with integrated reflectors, connected LED taillights with a lit Volkswagen logo in the centre, and a subtle roof-spoiler with integrated stop lamp.

Volkswagen Tayron R-Line: Features

The Volkswagen Tayron R-Line comes equipped with a 15-inch touchscreen-based infotainment system, which is tilted towards the driver. It also features front seats with a massage function, ventilation, a fully digital driver’s display, 30-colour ambient lighting, matrix LED lamps, and a panoramic sunroof.

Volkswagen Tayron R-Line: Engine

As informed earlier, the Volkswagen Tayron R-Line will be sold as a CKD unit in the country. Thus, we can expect the Tayron R-Line to feature the same 2.0-litre turbo petrol engine as the Tiguan R-Line. The engine can be mated with a 7-speed Dual Clutch Transmission (DCT), and it can churn out a peak power and torque output of 204hp and 320 Nm, respectively.
