The World Environment Day is celebrated every year on June 5, across the world. While celebrating the World Environment Day is significant and has its impacts, any result would not come without any serious actions. The Indian government has been taking several steps to promote sustainability in the country. One of the most important steps taken by the government is promoting the adoption of electric vehicles. EVs have played an important role in promoting sustainability and environmental concerns all over the world. Therefore, we have curated a list of some of the best value for money EVs available in India.

Tata Nexon EV 

Tata Nexon EV is available in India with its prices ranging between Rs 14.49 lakh and Rs 19.49 lakh (ex-showroom). It is equipped with a 30 kWh battery pack and a 40.5 kWh battery pack. Both these battery packs deliver a range of 325 km and 465 km, respectively. They are both powered by an electric motor that churn out a power output of 129 bhp and 144 bhp with the battery packs. 

MG ZS EV 

MG ZS EV is available in India with its prices ranging between Rs 18.98 lakh and Rs 25.20 lakh (ex-showroom). It is equipped with a 50.3 kWh battery pack that delivers a range of 461 km. The electric motor in the ZS EV produces a power output of 177 bhp and 280 Nm of torque. 

Hyundai Kona Electric 

Hyundai Kona Electric is available inIndia with its prices ranging between Rs 23.84 lakh and Rs 24.03 lakh (ex-showroom). Talking about its battery pack, it is equipped with a 39.2 kWh unit which delivers a driving range of 425 km. It is paired with an electric motor that churns out a power output of 136 bhp and 395 Nm of torque.
