Yamaha Ray ZR And Fascino Fi Brake Issue: Yamaha Motor India has recalled three lakh units of the Ray ZR and Fascino Fi hybrids due to faulty brake parts. Models affected due to this recall were manufactured in the last two years. Yamaha has stated that it will cover the cost of necessary changes to ensure these scooters meet road safety standards.The recall has been issued for scooters manufactured between January 1, 2022, and January 4, 2024. The recall will be effective immediately, including models from the Ray ZR and Fascino Fi hybrid range.

Yamaha Ray ZR 125 & Yamaha Fascino 125 Faulty Brake Issue
Yamaha has also stated that the recall has been announced to address a faulty brake part issue in the Ray ZR and Fascino Fi hybrid scooters. The faulty brake part issue affects the brake lever function of the recalled units. Yamaha will replace the faulty brake parts at no cost to the owners. Owners can verify their eligibility for the recall by visiting nearby Yamaha service centres or checking the service section on Yamaha's official website using the scooter's chassis number.
Yamaha Ray ZR 125 & Yamaha Fascino 125 - Price in India
The Yamaha Ray ZR 125 is available in India in two variants - one with a drum brake and one with a disc brake. The drum brake variant is available at a price of Rs 73,330, while the disc brake variant is available at a price of Rs 76,330. Similarly, the Yamaha Fascino 125 is also offered in two variants - one with a drum brake and one with a disc brake. The drum variant is available at a price of Rs 72,030 and the disc brake variant is available at a price of Rs 74,530. All prices mentioned above are ex-showroom.
Yamaha MT-03 & Yamaha R3
In other news, the popular two wheeler manufacturer in India recently launched two new motorcycles - Yamaha MT-03 and Yamaha R3. The Yamaha MT-03 has been launched with a price tag of Rs 4.60 lakh (ex-showroom) and the Yamaha R3 has been launched at a price of Rs 4.65 lakh (ex-showroom).
