Year Ender 2023: This year has been quite thrilling for motorcycle enthusiasts in India, as several new bikes were launched in the Indian market. However, the spotlight has been on the big guns—the 350 cc pr above motorcycles that were the main focus of manufacturers this year. Several motorcycle models were launched this year that boasted engines with displacement of 350 cc or more. As the year is approaching its end, let’s take a quick recap at some exciting motorcycles launched this year. 

Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 

The Himalayan 450 was launched in India in November with prices ranging from Rs 2.69 to Rs 2.84 lakh (ex-showroom). The new Himalayan 450 is powered by a 451.65 cc, liquid-cooled engine, called the Sherpa 450. It is capable of producing a power output of 40 bhp and 40 Nm of torque.

Triumph Speed 400 / Scrambler 400 X

Triumph Motorcycles launched the Speed 400 and Scrambler 400 X for the Indian market in July 2023. Prices for the motorcycles are Rs 2.33 lakh and Rs 2.63 lakh (ex-showroom). Both the Triumph Speed 400 and the Scrambler 400 X feature the same liquid-cooled, single-cylinder, 398 cc engine that has a maximum output of 40 bhp and 37.5 Nm of torque. 

KTM 390 Duke

KTM India launched the 390 Duke in India in September with prices starting from Rs 3.10 lakh (ex-showroom). The 390 Duke is powered by a 399 cc engine that generates a power output of 46 bhp and 39 Nm of torque.

Harley-Davidson X440

The Harley-Davidson X440 variant was launched in India in July 2023 and is available with prices ranging between Rs 2.39 lakh and Rs 2.79 lakh (ex-showroom). Harley-Davidson X440 is equipped with a 440 cc, single-cylinder two-valve engine that churns out 27 bhp of power and 38 Nm of torque.

Aprilia RS 457

Aprilia India launched the RS457 sportbike for India in December at an ex-showroom price of Rs 4.10 lakh in India. The Aprilia RS457 is powered by a liquid-cooled parallel-twin engine that produces a power output of 47.6 bhp and 43.5 Nm of torque.

Honda CB350

Honda CB350 was launched in India in November with prices varying between Rs 1.99 lakh and Rs 2.17 lakh (ex-showroom). As the name suggests, the CB350 is powered by a 350 cc, air-cooled, 4-stroke, single-cylinder, PGM-FI engine that generates a power output of 20.78 bhp and 29.4 Nm of torque.
