Chhapra-Delhi Amrit Bharat: In a bid to boost regional connectivity, the new Amrit Bharat Express connecting Chhapra in Bihar and Anand Vihar Terminal in Delhi is set to begin operations from October 20. Earlier, it was inaugurated by Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw on September 29.

The Chhapa-Anand Vihar Amrit Bharat Express will depart from Chhapra every Monday and Thursday and from Anand Vihar Terminal every Wednesday and Saturday, Jagran.com reported.

Chhapra-Amrit Bharat Express Train: Check Route, Timings, Stoppages

- Route: The new Amrit Bharat Express will run from Chhapra in Bihar to Anand Vihar Terminal in the national capital.

- Dates: The Chhapra-Anand Vihar Amrit Bharat train will commence its regular operations from Chhapra on October 20 and from Anand Vihar Terminal on October 22.

- Timings: The Chhapra-Anand Vihar Amrit Bharat Express will leave Chhapra every Monday and Thursday at 10 PM, whereas the Anand Vihar-Chhapra Amrit Bharat Express will depart Anand Vihar every Wednesday and Saturday at 12:20 AM.

- Stoppages: Train Number 15133/15134 Chhapra-Anand Vihar-Chhapra Amrit Bharat Express will stop at Siwan, Thawe, Tamkuhi Road, Padrauna, Kaptanganj, Gorakhpur, Khalilabad, Basti, Babhanan, Mankapur, Gonda, Barabanki, Badshah Nagar, Aishbagh, Kanpur Central and Etawah railway stations.

- Coach Composition: The Chhapra-Delhi Amrit Bharat Express train comprises general and sleeper coaches.

Earlier on Monday, the Indian Railways confirmed that a new Vande Bharat Express Train connecting Patna to the national capital will run from October 11 to November 17. This move comes after the Railway Ministry announced to run 12,000 special trains to manage the Diwali and Chhath Puja rush.
