For the first time in Bihar’s electoral history, the BJP is poised to set a new record, with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s whirlwind campaign emerging as a major factor behind the NDA’s sweeping performance. In nearly all constituencies where the Prime Minister addressed rallies, NDA candidates appear to have secured decisive leads.
After the election schedule was announced, PM Modi held public meetings across 14 districts and conducted a roadshow in Patna, appealing for support for NDA nominees.
Prime Minister Modi’s rallies once again proved pivotal in the state’s electoral landscape. In seats where he held public meetings, voter sentiment visibly shifted toward the NDA. According to political analysts, the “Modi factor” helped the alliance build momentum through the final phases of campaigning by reorienting the political narrative around development, governance, national security, and Bihar’s future roadmap.
Mrityunjay Jha, who coordinated the Prime Minister’s travel schedule in Bihar, said political activity surged immediately after Modi’s rallies began.
Modi’s message resonated strongly, particularly among women, first-time voters and the youth. In several constituencies earlier considered close contests, the NDA gained a clear edge following the Prime Minister’s visit. Strategists focused Modi’s rallies specifically in seats where the alliance was weak or facing stiff competition, an approach that appears to have paid off.
Higher-than-usual voter turnout was recorded in many of these rallies, highlighting the Prime Minister’s influence across both rural and urban regions.

Many BJP and JDU candidates acknowledged that Modi’s presence reinvigorated their campaigns. In areas where caste-based equations initially favoured the opposition, the Prime Minister’s rallies significantly altered the electoral dynamics. The effect was particularly visible in Seemanchal, Magadh, Shahabad and Mithila regions.
Political observers say the results reflect a combination of Modi’s popularity, the NDA’s strategy, and grassroots-level support that strengthened the alliance’s position.
The PM hold rallies in Samastipur, Begusarai, Muzaffarpur (Motipur), Chhapra, Arrah, Nawada, Saharsa, Katihar, Araria, Bhagalpur, Bhabua, Aurangabad, Sitamarhi, Bettiah, along with a roadshow in Patna.
